Bring Back The Brown SD!

Hello...

Our good friends from Product Etcetera are throwing a "Bring Back The Brown" event in conjunction with local urban shop, 5&A Dime.  Please come out to support and after wards, we will be heading over to Petco Park for the game against rival LA.

Bring Back The Brown

Bring Back the Brown Tailgate Party
Saturday, April 09, 2011 from 1pm to 430pm
Join us and droves of Padres fans at 5&A Dime on the corner of 8th and G in Downtown San Diego
• BBQ — hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos
• Drinks — provided by Left Coast Brewing Company
• Music — live in-store DJ
• Products — exclusive “Bring Back The Brown” product releases by Product Etcetera™ and 5&A Dime

This event marks the official home opener for the Bring Back The Brown campaign’s 2011 season. Join us as we celebrate San Diego pride and the unique colors of the home team’s past, with drinks, food, music, exclusive products, and an all-around good time. You will have a chance to talk baseball and mingle with some of San Diego’s strongest, and most loyal fan forums. Afterwards, we will be marching to Bar Basic and then Petco Park in the season’s first “Crowd in Brown” for the 5:35pm SD vs. LA game.
A portion of the proceeds from drinks, food, and exclusive product sales will be donated to a San Diego non-profit charitable organization to be named.

The Bring Back The Brown campaign was created with the grand objective of fostering a stronger loyalty to San Diego and its sports culture. The goal is to make fans and San Diegans feel empowered, and encourage a degree of ownership, pride, and involvement in their city by demanding that the brown return full-time (one – because it’s unique, and two – because it makes sense). If you’re down with the brown, visit the website and sign the petition!
