Mochi and I made it out to "LOOK"...works by Grant Brittain and Josh Higgins:
Different artists, different mediums, different content. But the song remains the same (or at least similar). Friends and fellow artists Grant Brittain and Josh Higgins will grace the walls of Subtext in a joint venture of unrelated themes. Brittain’s portraiture of some of skateboarding’s greatest names through the years features icons and underground heroes. Higgins’ poster-art focuses on his work with punkers, musical heros, and charitable causes. Together, the collective work suggests what it would be like to eavesdrop on these guys hanging out, having a beer, and comparing broken wrists and paper cuts. LOOK: A dialogue for your eyes. At Subtext this summer. [PRESS]Taking photos of photos was weird to me so I only took a couple of overall shots from both artist. If you're interested in photography and/or graphic design, I suggest making your way down to Subtext. The show runs from July 30th – August 29th, 2010.

Great B&W photos of past skaters...particular the portrait photos.

On our way back, we see EXIST 1981 hitting up

...and just across the street at Jett Gallery we we're surprised by a smooch from a cute little girl.
