Movers & Shakers @ Ronin.Gallery

Hello...

Ronin Galley had another great show this past weekend and the displayed work didn't disappoint...it was simply amazing.

This was another turn around trip for the Nasty crew. But it's all worth while to check out some beautiful and skillful work.

There was a moment when I couldn't move...I should have stayed near the bar.

and lastly, this was one of my favorite paintings at the show...from looking at the style (especially of the girl's eyes) I believe this to be an original Audrey Kawasaki. if my assumption is correct, Joukar is one extremely lucky guy to have an original painting. Kawasaki's pieces are notoriously hard to get and I'm just speaking of just the prints..
UPDATE:  I'm way off with this one.  This painting is by Stella Im Hultberg, a painter living and working in Brooklyn, NYC...thanks to soma city for the correction.

no problem. :)

stella & audrey (& i) are good friends. you're not the first to confuse their styles and probably won't be the last. here's a piece they did together (audrey's only collaboration to date). http://www.audrey-kawasaki.com/paintings/stellaaud1.jpg
